This playful hyena cub found what it thought was the perfect chew toy: a trailer hitch on the back of a parked truck! Despite its best efforts, the little one quickly learned that even the strongest jaws can’t move a car.
Spotted by Theunisia Swanepoel along the S1 road in Kruger National Park, the adorable moment shows the curious and mischievous side of hyenas. While it’s not uncommon for wild animals in Kruger to take an interest in passing vehicles, real damage is rare, usually just a few scratches left behind by teeth or claws.
