A playful African elephant calf became the center of attention after refusing to leave a muddy waterhole while the rest of the herd prepared to move on.
The youngster rolled, splashed, and kicked mud everywhere, clearly having the time of its life. Even when its mother nudged it repeatedly with her trunk, the calf stubbornly flopped back into the mud.
Eventually, the herd began walking away, forcing the little elephant to scramble out and run after them—still dripping with mud from head to toe.
