Deep inside a forest, rescuers discovered an elephant so weak that surviving alone had become almost impossible. The animal had suffered serious injuries and was struggling to find enough food and water.
Veterinarians treated the wounds and provided emergency medication, fluids, and nutrition. Because the elephant could no longer safely survive in the forest, the rescue team made the difficult decision to move him to a rehabilitation center.
The journey itself became a major operation involving specialized equipment and many hours of careful work. At the rehabilitation center, the elephant finally had a safe place to rest and begin healing.
