A python puts up a desperate fight after being caught by a crocodile. Despite the crocodile’s grip on the snake and thrashing it around, the python tries with all its strength to escape.
Contributors Julian Geerts and Benny Salzar sent this dramatic video to Latest Sightings. They witnessed the action at Kumana Dam on the H1-3 between Tshokwane and Satara Camp in the Kruger National Park.
Basking crocodile
As the video commences, we see a Nile crocodile lying in the shallows at the edge of the dam. At first glance, it appears that it is just basking in the sun.
