The African bush is full of wonder, but few sights are as captivating as a lion pride at play. In this video filmed by Craig Blewett in Kruger National Park, a lively group of cubs tumble and tackle each other under the watchful eyes of two adults, presumably their mother and the pride’s dominant male.
Their energy is boundless, and their mischief contagious. While the playful cubs were adorable on their own, there was something else that made this sighting even more special.
Among the bundle of tawny-coloured cubs, one stood out: a white lion cub, rare and stunning. With its pale coat contrasting the golden grass and fur of its siblings, it captured the camera’s attention and stole the show!.
