A young moose wandered dangerously close to a hungry bear, triggering an immediate chase. The bear rushed forward while the frightened calf struggled to keep up with the surrounding vegetation.
But the calf’s mother quickly noticed what was happening. The enormous moose turned toward the predator and aggressively defended her youngster, forcing the bear to reconsider the attack.
