Silverback Gorilla Stops Traffic to Cross Road – Gorilla Family and Me

Wildlife cameraman Gordon Buchanan ventures deep into the Congo to form an intimate relationship with the world’s biggest gorilla. Grauer’s gorillas are beautiful yet little-known giants living in the foothills of eastern Congo’s Virunga volcanoes.

The way he poses in the middle of the road to let his family cross shows what a leader he is. Imagine how much faith these little ones have in this majestic creature! They know he will die for them. Respect!.

What an amazing video! It must take days or months in the jungle to finally capture this moment, really appreciate it. I have to admit, that video footage was one in a million to catch. Pure wilderness gold! Well done and I hope you win an award for your amazing efforts.
