After being reunited with her missing dog, a little girl sheds tears of joy

Max the dog went missing from his San Antonio home for nearly two months, and his family was scared they would never see him again.

That is until they received a call from Bexar County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Perez about a dog they had seen wandering aimlessly in the neighborhood.

Perez recognized Max from the station’s lost dog flyers, so when he arrived at the scene, he knew it was him right away.

So he called his family to inform them of the wonderful news, and they were reunited shortly after.

It’s unclear how Max managed to exist on his own for so long, but his family was overjoyed to see him again.

Two wonderful little girls were especially excited for Max to return home, and when they were reunited, one of them could not stop crying tears of pleasure while clinging tight to Max.

Thanks to the anonymous caller who spotted Max and Perez for identifying him and bringing him home, Max is now safe and healthy at home.

On Facebook, the sheriff’s office said, “Max and his family were reunited, and as you can see from the children’s smiles, they couldn’t be happier.”

”Thank you, Deputy Perez, for making this reunion possible!”.
