Adorable Video Of A Snow-White Weasel Peering Through A Hole In A Tree

Chris Cooper of Michigan was out walking in the woods one day when he came across a shy snow-white ermine peering out of a hollow tree.

The ermine, a weasel species, was saying hello, and Chris was lucky enough to have a camera to capture the sweetest ever game of peek-a-boo.

Ermines may change the color of their coat depending on the season, so this one was completely white because it was discovered in the winter.

This is an evolutionary characteristic that allows them to hide from predators regardless of the season.

These burrowing critters are frequently found hidden in hollow trees; they will typically remain out of your way but will attack if cornered.

What a lovely and unusual encounter!.
