Sparrowhawk Predates A Collared Dove.
Excellent Ron, seen so may times with the naked eye yet still never with my camera to hand.
Sparrow hawk and captured Collared Dove These two smacked into our patio window this afternoon luckily I had my camera close.
So that’s what happened when I saw a pile of feathers in the grass.
Unfortunately for the Dove. Great capture! That’s how nature works, Sadly it was a botched rescue Look at the blood coming out of the doves mouth, the hawks talons are puncturing its chest in multiple locations.
hate to hear the cries of the victim, this poor dove is being plucked alive.
