Interspecies animal partnerships aren’t rare

Interspecies animal partnerships aren’t rare; we see them all the time, and they never cease to melt our hearts.
This story is no different.

The delicate and emotional interaction between a baby gorilla and a young chimpanzee was captured by a photographer.

The two newborn apes were playing together, embracing, and just being good friends when photographer Michael Poliza photographed the moment.

We’ve seen baby monkeys and tigers, puppies and tigers, and even a dog and an owl, so infant animals don’t discriminate in any way.

It’s tough to predict if the two will stay friends as adults. When gorillas get older and bigger, they can become quite territorial and violent.
